As many know already, due to the worldwide COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, my trip to Honduras has been postponed till later this year. The trustees and myself want to let you know some of our efforts as a church body in the coming days:
- All our gatherings - Life Groups here and in homes, church service - continue as normal unless announced otherwise. Our gatherings are essential now more than ever to provide Christ-filled community and warmth to each other and our community.
- We remain committed as always to good hygiene and regular cleaning with an added touch in between. Our times of greeting & personal contact will continue but we’ll be practical & safe in doing so.
- Be faithful and constant in your ministry area, also needed now more than ever. Of course if you are truly sick, stay home and get well! Make sure to let your teammate and coordinator know you’ll need a replacement.
God is not surprised by this & is in control.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, & sound judgment.” 2 Timothy 1:7 HCSB
Abiding Life, God has given this to us! These are the times that the love of Christ and His Gospel message can shine even more brightly through our words & actions to all around us!
Lastly, pray like crazy. Pray for our missionaries who are in even more troubled areas of the world. Pray for God to show the leaders of our nation and community the way through this with His wisdom. Pray for an awakening to the Gospel for all to see & come to Him. Pray for God to bring victory over the physical & spiritual battles going on.
