We know what it's like to walk into some place unfamiliar,
so here are some answers to some questions you may have!
WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?
A welcoming environment with lots of smiling faces and helping hands.
You'll hear contemporary worship music followed by an engaging message from Pastor Walter. Then, we'll collect our tithes and offerings- don't worry, you're never obliged to give! It's just another way of worship in response to our gratitude to all Jesus has given us. Then, we'll close out with announcements of what's coming up or maybe one final song. Sunday at ALBF always a great way to kick off a new week!
*Our Christmas Sunday on December 16th will be a bit different than our usual Sunday.
It will be an interactive morning of storytelling, music, and fun for the whole family!
WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS? IS THERE SOMETHING FOR THEM?
Of course, there is something for kids of all ages!
- Infants through kindergarteners have a fun-filled time with Bible stories, music, and crafts with our awesome teachers in the KidsWorld Nursery. Childcare is available for both the 9:30am LifeGroup hour and 10:30am Worship Gathering hour. You'll sign them in at the door- if a diaper change is needed or something else comes up, they'll text you to let you know. Easy process!
- First grade through sixth grade kids get a more in-depth Bible study with their 9:30am LifeGroup hour followed by a fun morning of exciting music, great Bible lessons, and fun games during the 10:30am Worship Gathering hour. Sometimes though, for special Sundays, they'll sit in the Main Worship Gatherings with their families.
- Our FUSION Students (seventh grade to twelfth) join their families for 9:30am LifeGroup hour for deeper Bible study and the 10:30am Worship Gathering. On Wednesday nights, FUSION Students meet up at the church at 6:30pm for an evening of Bible study, games, and fun with other teens!
*Christmas at Abiding Life is on Sunday, December 16, and it will be a bit different than the usual.
All children will sit with their families and upon completion of their portion of the program,
they will all return to their designated rooms to finish their own Christmas celebration.
We ask that Nursery Parents (infancy through 4 years old) sign their children in
at the Nursery door as you arrive and then proceed to the auditorium to sit
with your kids- this will make taking them back at the end much smoother.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear your best Sunday dress or come with your comfiest jeans, we don't care.
We just ask that you come wearing something! :)
